New Infinite Runner with Ragdolls

Just made a cleaned prototype with better ragdoll animations and used assets of Keijiro Takahasi's repo assets. (He is a very productive programmer who creates crazy stuff with Post Processing effects and procedural things btw) Repeating this prototype is something obsessive but it becomes more fluid and functional every time. Animations are from Mixamo Oh one thing.. The Source Code! »

My confessions and observations

Its year 2016. We have computers, games, game engines, indie-pocalypses,million selling indie titles which we all elaborate on to create, millions dollar securing enterpreneurs. Everyone has start-ups. Chasing money, getting investments with weird projects who can't survive a year or less. I feel like there is too much noise and i feel like can't catch anything. My tendency these days is to stay away from »

Shader Playground

I was scared of the shaders. Couldn't find the time to learn them and hated the syntax when i motivated myself to write one. So superb Shader Forge comes to rescue. Its a node based shader editor for Unity game engine. It generated the shader code for you when you are dealing with the nodes in the UI. Gives the realtime visual feedback of the current »

Struct Prototype Concept Art

Tried to visualize some environments for the game i'm working on. How these are made: Make a composition in Maya with a nice cam angle. Render with Maya Sofware Renderer. Create a new render layer and add your wireframe object to new render layer. Render new wireframe layer with maya vector. (if its not loaded it needs to be loaded from plugins). Open any photo editor. »

First Animation Tests of TheStruct

IMO, every stupid little thing you create worth sharing with people. Here is the first character controlling tests and animations. This video is taken at 22 September 2015. Character animations are from Mixamo which is acquired by Adobe. I'm hoping for a affordable payment to continue using them. Here is the second video that i took after 2 weeks work. For 2 weeks i tried to »

Hoverboard Jam

Infini boarder is my personal entry to Hoverboard jam. Which celebates Marty mc Fly's time travel to date 21 October 2015. Game jams are fun! Took 2 whole days to develop, approx 30-35 hours of non stop working. PS: Still no hover boards, flux capacitors, mr. fusions, flying cars. i have hopes for the future! »

Others Gold

Twine is awesome. Its a small html based game engine to create text adventures. Last night i created a test game named Others Gold and my impressions are pretty good so far. After playing all games in a row in bitesizehorror, i decided to download the app and create one myself. Its a pretty good excercise and strangely arouses your imagination and logical thinking. you can »

The Struct

Well, i'm excited! Last month i quit my job and started to work on my first indie title, code named as "The Struct". The idea started with an infinite runner prototype with multi player game mechanics but over time i decided to move to a more cinematic and procedural runner game. For now i discarded the multiplayer mechanics / programming because of team member shortage :). What cinematic »

Digital currencies in a game

Recently i've been thinking about why are we collecting coins in a freemium app/any video game. Probably its related with the arcade saloon culture. You can't put your own money in a machine because of some security and maintenance reasons so you'll need a unified currency to spend. The most simple solution is to invent a replica coin which replaces the regular money we spend. »
